About Me

Annelise Dixon

With a background in inclusive and special education, I’ve spent over a decade working alongside learners, families, and educators to build confidence, connection, and lifelong skills. Those experiences shaped my passion for creating environments where everyone can belong, thrive, and feel empowered to reach their potential.

Now, as a learning designer, I bring that same heart into my work by developing programs and resources that combine creativity, wellbeing, and evidence-based practice. I have worked with schools and organisations to support the effective use of digital technologies and AI, ensuring they enhance inclusion rather than create barriers. I also co-led the creation of an AI in inclusive education website involving a global network of inclusive educators, collaborating to make learning more equitable for all.

My approach is guided by my 3 Es of Educational Equity:

  • Emotional Intelligence – leading with empathy and care
  • Empowerment – giving learners the tools and confidence to succeed
  • Evidence-based practice – grounding everything in research and proven strategies

At the core of what I do is a simple belief: every learner deserves opportunities that respect their individuality and unlock their strengths.
